Proven Leader.</h2><h3>I’m a Massapequa resident, dad, and community member who believes that strong schools depend on serious, responsible governance.</h3>Professionally, I’ve spent my career leading complex organizations, managing large budgets, and bringing structure and accountability to high-stakes environments. I understand how to evaluate risk, make data-driven decisions, and balance competing priorities.As a parent, I care deeply about ensuring that our schools are places where students can learn, feel supported, and thrive. As a taxpayer, I believe public resources must be managed carefully and transparently.I’m running for the Massapequa School Board because I believe our district deserves calm, capable leadership focused on education — not politics — and on long-term success rather than short-term controversy.My goal is simple: help restore trust, stability, and focus to our schools so they can continue to serve our community well.

Device addiction and digital media awareness are substantial issues challenging our students - from kindergarten through high school. Today, Massapequa addresses these issues through a thoughtful curriculum. I'll advocate for continued growth and development of the curriculum, keeping our students and educators safe and informed.

Trust is built through openness and accountability. The community deserves clear communication, accessible decision-making, and a board that listens.

Strong districts plan ahead. This includes responsible facilities planning, thoughtful staffing decisions, and careful evaluation of shared services or regional initiatives that may benefit students and taxpayers.

Universal Pre-K deserves a serious, data-driven look in Massapequa with a focus on quality, fiscal discipline, and feasibility. Many Long Island districts already offer UPK, and New York State is moving toward statewide access. I support a transparent, phased plan to assess demand, capacity, and responsible use of available funding.

Universal Pre-K Exploration

The district should pursue a lawful, collaborative resolution with the state and local tribes that reflects the community and protects taxpayer dollars and state funding. The longer this remains unresolved, the greater the financial and compliance risk to our schools. I believe we should act now, while options remain, to reach a durable outcome.

School board service is a fiduciary responsibility. Lawsuits and escalation should be rare, carefully evaluated, and used only when absolutely necessary. Taxpayer dollars belong in classrooms, student services, and long-term planning.

The Board must implement policy thoughtfully and lawfully, in compliance with New York State requirements, with strong privacy protections for all students. That means clear rules, consistent enforcement, and practical privacy measures where appropriate.

Local schools work best when they stay focused on education. Board decisions should be grounded in law, evidence, and student outcomes — not national political debates or unnecessary conflict.
